Therapy team

Ian Crowe - Family Services Co-ordinator & Office Manager

I'm Ian.  As the family services coordinator I am the first port of call for families enquiring about bibic's services.  I am always happy to discuss how we can help you and your child and will have the answers to your questions about the service we provide.  I am also the office manager at bibic and keep the office running smoothly and safely.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and visiting National Trust spots.

Graham Valentine - Children & Young People's Therapist

Hi, my name is Graham and I've have had the privilege of working as a bibic therapist for nearly 15 years.  I have previously worked for Hampshire County Council with adults with special needs, in a day care setting, involving horticulture projects and developing independence.  I have also worked for the National Autistic Society in a residential setting.

Over the last 15 years it has been so inspiring to work with so many different children and their families; each and every one with their own individual challenges.  It is great to be part of an enthusiastic and dynamic team of therapists that can make such an impact on children and their families.  Over the years I've met so many wonderful characters and families and each one gives an opportunity to learn something new.  The children never cease to amaze me in how they can develop towards their full potential with the appropriate support and interventions.

I have 5 children of my own who are all now teenagers or adults which, as you can imagine, takes up a lot my time.  I do manage to swim and practice Aikido regularly, enjoying walks and days out.

Graham is trekking up Kilimanjaro for bibic! Please help him raise funds by sponsoring him on his Just Giving page here.

Lucy Carpenter - Children & Young People's Therapist

I'm Lucy and I am one of the children and young people's therapists at bibic.  I work closely with children and their families or carers to ease any difficulties they might have by creating an individualized therapy programme full of skills and strategies.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, socialising and walking my dog.

Emma Dunn - Children & Young People's Therapist

I'm Emma and I'm a therapist who works with children, young people and their families to develop a daily therapy programme to include strategies to support any difficulties they might have. I previously worked as a SENCO and Manager in specialist early years settings and co-developed a group to support children and young people educated at home.

In my spare time I enjoy renovating and upcycling furniture and researching my family tree.
